It was a straight forward lease. Picked it out, Charlie did all the paperwork. We picked it up and drove away. And excellent experience.

Happy with the repairs on my truck. Spent $2k at the service center. Knock sensors, harness, ABS sensors, brakes rotors. Would have appreciated a cash discount offered, a current coupon of a couple bucks off or some kind split payment option, non were offered. There is a $585 charge for an ABS assessment. Service provider did not explain that went toward the repair as well and I almost didn’t get that done because I was concerned about the cost of repair on top of that. I have another car getting serviced in Cadillac and the manager Ethan called me to let me know the part is in for that car while in the Chevy building and asked him about the high assessment cost for ABS light and he informed me that would go toward repair so, I did go ahead with that because of his explanation and he set me up with a rental for the day while the rest of repairs were completed, took about 7 hours, was glad it was done same day. Personally, taking the time to explain things in detail will help customers make a better financial decision and have a better understanding of what their money is going towards, is something I value. I think service providers forget that the customer doesn’t always know that assessment fees go towards repair or that there is an option to rent a car etc. Also, when picking the truck up a different guy came over to ring me up and I felt rushed while he didn’t even know what work I had done or what vehicle I had. When someone is spending that much money and getting that much work done give them the same service person or inform whoever is taking over a synopsis of what was done on the vehicle so they can share that with the customer and have a nice closing leaving the customer with no questions and feeling appreciated for choosing that dealership..

I just moved to Rhode Island, but I’m originally from Grand Blanc Michigan. I need a car and the best place to buy a car is in Michigan in the past. We have always bought our cars from Al Serra. My brother-in-law went to see the sales person he always works with Brian Miller. A few days later, I arrive in Grand Blanc and now I have a car. It was very easy and everything went very smoothly. Al Serra handled all the transfers, taxes that will be needed for Rhode Island. Thank you, Al Serra, Brian Miller and my brother-in-law.

In my 73 years as a consumer I've read the owners manual to find out about the product. Now here. The vechical is more an and more technical and no manual on how the simple things work. How to turn on your headlights how to program your radio how the navigation works. I'm realy disappointed in G M and the dealership for assuming we all are so computer savvy And then after downloading the manual being told it's not available for print

An unauthorized adjustment of vehicle settings has been detected, specifically the reactivation of the back seat reminder feature. Further investigation revealed multiple configuration changes, suggesting malicious intent. The alterations are not considered humorous.

It took 2 hours for a simple oil change that I had an appointment for. It made me late for 2 appointments that I had scheduled. The service rep, Blake, that I worked with was extremely understanding and made an appreciated effort of taking care of the bill for the oil change. Due to his effort and concern for the situation, I will probably give Al Serra another chance on my next oil change.

Gregg was fantastic at Al Serra of Grand Blanc. He made the new car buying process SO easy and stress free. He got me into the car of my dreams, with everything and more on my "must have" list, within my budget, in under 2 weeks. He even had his team install my floor liners and mailed my backordered liner directly to my house. Gregg set up my Chevrolet app, showed me all the new car details and took care of the paperwork, registration and insurance changes for me. I was in and out with my new car, under 90 minutes.

Our experience for the most part was good except on pick up day it took hours.

I arrived about 15min. before my appointment & was greeted by a service writer. Very pleasant & professional. The service department was busy but my vehicle was completed in about 1 hour. Thank you.

He contacted me when he found a vehicle that I might be interest in leasing and after agreeing to lease thevehicle, he had all forms available for signatures. He helped me secure my GM discount. I brought my car in for an oil change, a part that was ordered needed to be installed and a check on a coolant smell. I had an appt at 7am. Per my Chevy app my car sat in parking lot with no oil change . I text at 1230 to see the status as the app said it was still in the same place it was hours before they said they were working on it but the app reflected it was just sitting in the parking lot.Suddenly the car was moved to the garage reflected oul change was done and then moved again to the other side of the garage I was told I would get a text when car was done which never happened. Maybe my app was wrong. Not a great experience for.sure.

Quick, easy, affordable

Very disappointed that we had to come back from our vacation two days early, only to find out that GM is aware of the problem but has no solution. If it happens again, what are we to do? The service tech was very good, but I'm not sure if he can convey my disappointment in this vehicle and the number of times I have had to take it in for service.

Came in for an oil change and they said it was time to rotate my tires, I agreed. Left and sensor light is coming on for tire pressure. Now I will have to make time to bring my vehicle back in to get it updated.

Well I initially went in for a routine oil change and was informed that I had a radiator leak. The salesman looked in and stated I was had an warranty in which I had a 100.00 deductible upon talking with manager he stated if I would get it service today, they would wave my deductible. I had another appt and was a hesitant to get the work done at the. However, after informing me the dangers that could happen , I decided to get my car serviceservic and a rental was provided and I was able to make it to my appt. Few hours later I recieved a call stating my car was ready for pickup. I appreciated Blake and Cody for their fine customer service.

I went to al Serra for transmission problem. I service writer was friendly and swift in taking action in getting my truck in . He arranged my loner car. It only took maybe 35 min. And then 2weeks to get it back. Im very pleased with the service. The company just earned a new customer

Don't like how they say that a radiator flush is necessary, never had that done on any other vehicle ever, want to rotate tires and they really need new ones not rotate!

Agreed to purchase on a Saturday filled out all paperwork. Didn’t hear back anything until very end of day Monday. Then what I heard was it was approved no details. When we test drove the vehicle we told salesman about sticky stuff all over steering wheel. He said there was tape he pulled off put it would all be taken care of during prep. Had to follow up with dealer on status. We agreed to pick up Thursday evening (5p.m.) paperwork was sent to us to sign at 4:00p.m. Which made it hard to look over since we were driving to dealership. Since it was so late we just had a quick overview of car with salesman. Steering wheel was still sticky so salesman cleaned it up but as I was leaving put my hand in sticky spot again. Also had white stuff on middle counsel and spots on door frame. Need to hire new car detailer if it even went through that process.

Blake did an outstanding job of getting my 2019 Silverado High Country serviced. I had small oil leak that had been going for a while plus my truck needed some milestone service procedures. He got all of that done including getting the tire for my 2015 Z06 Corvette repaired. It had a leak at the bead of the tire. He did all of that in 3 days. Great job by the whole service team.

The dealership was very clean and efficient when first walking in to look at vehicles. We had help right away and the salesperson was very helpful to us. We were able to leave in a new Equinox that afternoon. The only thing I wish was available was a quick guide to learning the functions of the media dashboard as I am completely new to all this high-tech gagetry ... and even viewing a manuel online isn't enough to help.

Experience was nothing special. Didn't care for being referred to as "Bud". Also, when I made the appointment, it would have been nice to know that my vehicle needed other service based on the mileage. I declined because I hadn't had the opportunity to plan for the additional expense. When you indicate on the receipt that the customer declined the service you should also not that it was due to your incompetence in not notifying the customer ahead of time.

Service is great - I have worked with Cody Younglove before, he does a great job, great service - prompt estimate and relatively accurate service time estimate. Cody found every possible way to save me money with repairs, and even helped to get a discount on my Enterprise rental - which wvery bit counts being these things are expensive. Repairs were accurate and seems to have fixed the problem.

The lady that met me and did the paperwork was very professional. The waiting areas were very clean and I was surprised that I was on my way so soon.

I brought my vehicle in to be serviced for a check engine light and traction control service light. I was told that there was nothing wrong and they could not find anything. Picked it up and then had to bring it back 3 different times for the same service lights and was told the same thing. This cost me EVERY TIME I brought it in. On the 4th visit for the exact same situation, I was told it was a cracked head. I had it repaired and paid AGAIN. The first time I drove my vehicle after picking it up, the same services lights came on. It broke down right after the service lights came and I was on the expressway. I had to wait for a tow truck and PAID FOR THAT!! My vehicle was then towed back to Al Serra. Then I was told it was the cam shaft. Had that fixed and AGAIN paid for it. When I picked up my vehicle from having the cam shaft replaced, the check engine light was on when they brought it out to me. I was told that the light was not cleared after they test drove it, and that it was fine and not bringing up any codes. However The first time I drive it after picking it up THE SAME LIGHT CAME BACK ON AGAIN!!

Al Serra does a great job on car repairs. Their waiting room is a cramped, uncomfortable and customer hostile.

Service rep signed me in quickly for the low heat problem i was having. He then recommended the fuel injection Service since I was getting close to the recommended schedule. He did not mention the cost of this service until after I signed the authorization. Afterwards I remembered that I had prepaid for recommended services at the time of signing the lease at Feldman Chevrolet in Highland. I had to pay Serra because the prepaid was only covered at Feldman. So I'm not happy about Serra's service department

I had an appointment at 240 on Friday January 2nd. Waited an hour for an oil change and tire rotation. However, there were at least 3 probably more like 4 people who came into waiting room after me and was out very quickly definitely BEFORE my car was done. Why does that happen?

Dropped off my wife's car(with an appointment) Jan 2nd(Friday) was told it should be done later that day. After no call for 4 days my wife had our salesman call over there and see what was going on(she was already at the dealership with her daughter looking for cars), he was unable to reach our service advisor. Later that day she called the service department herself and was also unavailable to reach the service advisor, so she talked to someone that told her that her car was just finished up.(Tuesday). We had no issues with the car it was just a recall so why did it take 4 working days with not a dam phone call to get out car back? I currently have my car over there now for the last 2 days and guess what no update call from the service advisor on its progress, but they told my wife it would only take a day. Lol ya right this is Al Serra Chevrolet service department. I will stick with bowman for service after this,and Bowman washes your car after service.

Excellent service writer, and problem was fixed promptly. But there was one glitch. They said they tried replacing a blown fuse. Apparently he “borrowed” a fuse from the rear wiper, Now the wiper is dead- with a blown fuse. I personally replaced that fuse, and now all is well!

Delivered my 2015 Corvette to your service department for a noise I’m hearing when releasing the clutch in first gear. After the car was there for 3 days or so the service writer called and asked me to come in and drive the car with him to make sure they are hearing the same noise that I am. So I came in and drove the car with the service writer and after a little warm up the noise was heard by both of us. Then about 3 days later the service writer called and said the tech couldn’t get the car to make the noise and told me to pick up the car as no issues were determined. Upon picking up my car I voiced my concerns with the service writer Which was a different one and the other service writer was off that day. I had her check with the tech again and she came back after her discussion and told me it must be different driving styles. I’ve never heard such a diagnosis in my life. I really hope the noise I’m hearing doesn’t cause further damage as Al Serra will receive a more serious review than this one. Word of advice. Don’t take your expensive car there for service!

When I arrived on Friday as scheduled I was told there was no loaner car for me but I previously arranged for a loaner car and I ask for SUV because I have spinal stenosis it makes it hard to get out of a low seating car but since it was no loaner car for me and I didn’t not have a car they arranged me to get a car at enterprise later than scheduled which messed up my plans for Friday and enterprise only had a Malibu and it’s is very painful for me to get out of that car so I had to take that bc I have an oil leak really should have gave you a one star I was disappointed appointed

Al Serra kept me informed about the progress in my car and got me out of there in time for my appointment.

I really appreciate the time and care Michelle Vaughn took towards making sure my vehicle's issues were reported to GM, so GM could respond with a solution for the technician, and the computer module part was replaced. That being said, no other Al Serra service personnel did anywhere near that level of effort. They would clear the engine light with the diagnostic machine, say "We can't get it to come back on" and give the car back to me, which would have the engine light come back on again in a month or two. Five stars for Michelle. Zero for everyone else. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

When they were done working on my car the guy said oh your car is out there I couldn't find it I had to go back inside to get the guy to show me where the car was. They had parked it way up in the front he didn't tell me that when I went outside

Your tech that works on Apple Car play etc, replaced parts and sent me away twice without the issue actually being fixed. He/she obviously didn’t check themselves to make sure the issue was resolved before having the service dept. call me and pick it up. I had to drop it back off for a third time in which the vehicle was kept for 6 weeks and still hadn’t been fixed.

Al Sierra Grand Blanc has been my go-to place for buying cars, and I’ve had a great experience with them over the years. It’s not my first, second, third, or even fourth brand new car, but I’ve definitely bought at least 10 cars from them. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I’m confident that I’ll be buying more cars from them in the future.

Trying to sell things you don't need and lied about an undate

I am getting tired of scheduling an oil change and nothing else but without my knowledge, something is added to that. Usually it is either tire rotation or windshield wipers. This has happened MANY times in the past. Then they want me to pay for the extra. WELL, I don't pay for more than what I scheduled. Plus, when I get the reminder sheet for the scheduled oil change below in VERY SMALL letters it states also tire rotation. THIS IS DISHONEST AND IN MY OPINION AL SERRA REPAIR DEPT. IS DISHONEST. I have also had more work done than I had brought my vehicle in for, again, without my knowledge until I received the bill. Plus, I had some work done and less than a month later the same problem arose and the answer was, we can change all the other parts for $450. They never checked to see if the original repair had gone bad. I doubt that I will receive any feedback from my comment but I will wait and see. Howard Morton hmorton46@comcast.net

I had tons of recommendations from this place for three different salespeople. I worked with Katie from the Chevy building and she worked so hard for three weeks to find us a vehicle for our family. We inquired for a 5k vehicle and pulled out of the lot with a 2026 Chevy equinox and it’s lovely. Katie came in on her DAY OFF carrying a blessing and delivering a blessing. It was mostly done over text which means it took about ten minutes to sign paperwork then we were in our vehicle. I will forever recommend this place and Katie to anyone! Above and beyond!

This was my third vehicle purchase with Jared Dennington, and the experience was just as positive as the first two. Jared is never pushy, is refreshingly honest and focuses on providing clear, factual information so I can make the best decision for myself. Prior to working with Jared, I purchased two vehicles from another dealership in the area and found those experiences to be far less pleasant, especially after the sale, where support was minimal. Walking into Al Serra a few years ago and being connected with Jared was a welcome change and a genuine relief. Based on my past experiences, I would not consider purchasing a vehicle from anyone else.

It was fast to get taken care of and the workers are very pleasant,but the hours of operation are inconvenient for people that work m-f 7a-5p. I wish they would have the shop open on Saturday's.
